The Happiness Assistant assists the Happiness Coordinator in all things FUN at the Branch,providing engaging and purpose-filled events and activities. In times of happiness and sadness, we are that caregiver” - Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities: - Conduct activities in the following categories: physical (exercise), social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, and special requests of the residents.
- Invite and/or remind residents to participate in planned activities.
- Chaperone activities outside the community.
- Operate a Bickford vehicle to transport residents to activities where applicable.
- Assist in the development of a Monthly Activity Calendar that incorporates activities 7 days per week and includes evening and weekend activities.
- Coordinate food needs for scheduled activities with the kitchen.
Qualifications: - High-school diploma or GED required.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines.
