Job Description

We're looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
• Checking in inbound products and tagging them correctly.
• Performing various receiving tasks, like unloading trucks and storing products in the right overstock location.
• Maintaining pick locations by opening product packaging and placing items in primary picking spots.
• Breaking down pallets of returned products, verifying quantities, and noting any discrepancies.
• Organizing orders efficiently for picking.
• Selecting full-case and break-pack orders, labeling merchandise, and preparing it for staging.
• Inspecting all power equipment and completing safety inspections before use.
• Following all safety procedures.
• Stacking empty pallets, keeping the work area clean, and disposing of trash regularly.
• Ensuring a safe work environment.
• Collaborating effectively with team members.

Skills:

• Minimum of three (3) months of warehouse experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to work on weekdays, with occasional weekends and holidays based on business needs
• Full-time associates may be required to work additional hours as needed.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers is a plus.
• Capability to work at heights up to 30 feet or more, as required.

Physical Demands:

• Moderate physical effort, including manual dexterity and motor skills.
• Activities involve sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift, lower, and carry products by hand, up to a maximum of 66 pounds.
• Use of personal computers and RF scanners for data entry.
• Must be able to read and hear verbal instructions or use a headset.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with seasonal temperature variations.
• Operation of warehouse equipment.
• Proper safety procedures eliminate potential hazards.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
