ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry are being retained to search for an experienced professional on behalf of our client:
Title: Regional Manager - Residential Properties
Responsible for providing strategic oversight and operational leadership for residential properties within the region. Ensure financial performance, operational excellence, and compliance with company standards while fostering a collaborative and professional environment for all team members
Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day operations of properties, including tenant relations, occupancy, maintenance, and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
-Monitor and manage property financial performance, including rent collections, delinquencies, expenditures, and occupancy trends. Proactively address variances to meet budget goals.
-Collaborate with senior leadership to define regional goals, develop annual operating budgets, and drive initiatives that align with the company's vision.
-Recruit, coach, and mentor property teams to build high-performing staff. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and professional development.
-Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure properties meet company standards in operations, maintenance, and curb appeal. Identify and address areas of improvement.
-Stay updated on industry regulations and communicate policy changes to staff. Ensure compliance with new requirements.
-Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and professionalism. Encourage problem-solving and innovative approaches to challenges.
Qualifications
-10+ years of progressive experience in property management, including 5+ years in a regional leadership role overseeing a portfolio of 1200+ units.
-Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
-Expertise in third-party fee management and market-rate or affordable housing operations.
-Proficient in property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong knowledge of property maintenance, marketing strategies, and capital project management.
-Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits.
-Travel within the region is required.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 plus bonus; benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays.
