Job Description

We collaborate in the production of Pre-Pack (PPK) in a safe environment with the highest quality standards, developing our human talent, fulfilling and satisfying the needs of our customers, the builders of tomorrow. The Prepack Machine Operator position is key to keeping production lines working, supporting machine cleaning, proactively detecting safety and quality issues, and escalating any issues to area leaders for proper support.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping the equipment, materials, and tools in good condition and ensuring the correct operation of the line, following safety and quality standards to comply with the expected output of the prepack lines.
• Utilization of the Bag maker equipment, including foil assembly, temperature setup, and cleaning equipment.
• Management of the line scales and correction of errors/rejects from the scales.
• Usage of EasyHMI during changeovers and production orders.
• Troubleshooting machine issues and applying the escalation process if needed.

Other job duties as assigned by Team Leads, Supervisor, or Manager.

Qualifications:

• Completed Materialist and support to changeover training (Internal).
• Good understanding and working knowledge of counting machines, material handling, and production/line documentation (Internal).
• Completed all training and process confirmation requirements for Level 1 on-the-job training verified by LVA training department (Internal).
• Demonstrable experience working at least 1 year with production machinery, HMI, and PC.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 6 months to 2 years or more experience in a production environment with high-volume, fast-paced production lines.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Turning body side-to-side.
• Lifting product up to 33 lbs.
• Grabbing/Pinching.
• Reaching away from your body.
• Bending/Squatting.
• 18 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to work a 12-hour shift.
