Pediatric Medical Scribe

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in health sciences.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a medical scribing role.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and pediatric medical terminology.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in working with pediatric providers.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance if working onsite.

Duties:

• Document pediatric patient visits and physician assessments in EPIC EMR.
• Accurately transcribe treatment plans, vaccinations, and growth metrics.
• Ensure compliance with pediatric-specific HIPAA and legal documentation standards.
• Assist pediatricians in maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records.
• Stay updated with changes in pediatric coding and EMR updates.
