Job Description

The Dept. of World Languages and Cultures at Ohio Wesleyan University is looking for a part-time Italian instructor to teach one first-semester Italian course (ITAL 110) in the Fall (2025) and one second-semester Italian course (ITAL 111) in the Spring (2026). The course is scheduled to be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:10-4pm. At Ohio Wesleyan, a residential liberal arts institution, all classes are taught in an in-person, face-to-face setting. We do not offer online courses during Spring and Fall semesters.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Italian or Education, native or near native fluency in the language, and some teaching experience at the college level.

Pay is $5,000 per course.
