In this role, you'll be the crucial link between loan approval and homeownership, ensuring smooth and successful loan closings for our valued members. Your attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service will make you an integral part of our team dedicated to helping people realize their dreams of owning a home.

What You'll Be Doing:

Guiding Loans to Completion: Manage the entire loan workflow from "clear-to-close" to loan servicing.
Ensuring Accuracy and Quality: Conduct thorough quality control reviews to prepare closing packages.
Coordinating Closings: Schedule loan settlements with customers, title companies, insurance agents, and realtors.
Reviewing and Validating Documents: Review loan approvals, create and validate Closing Disclosures, and ensure RESPA compliance.
Managing Rate Locks and Funding: Review and update rate locks and prepare wire requests.
Working with Title Reports and Closing Packages: Review title reports and prepare and deliver closing document packages.
Conducting Remote Closings (if applicable): Conduct remote electronic mortgage closings using provided tools.
Authorizing Funding: Review and provide funding authorizations as required.
Ensuring Accurate Calculations: Review calculated taxes, insurance, and MI for accuracy.
Handling Fees and Accounts: Collect and post fees and accounts when necessary.
Preparing Post-Closing Packages: Prepare post-closing packages for storage.
Communicating with Borrowers and Processors: Maintain direct contact with mortgage processors and borrowers.
Providing Excellent Customer Service: Handle member calls and inquiries with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Collaborating with the Team: Interact daily with originators, borrowers, the mortgage team, and vendors.
Staying Informed: Keep up-to-date with current trends in mortgage lending.
Providing Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:

Understanding of mortgage lending and the origination process.
Ideally, 2 years of mortgage closing experience.
Ability to become a Notary Public.
If working remotely, a suitable workspace for online loan closings.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with loan systems (Encompass preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
NMLS Registration will be required.
