Position Overview: I.K. Hofmann has an immediate opening for a Lounge Attendant at JFK, NY, in a First-Class Lounge. Our client serves meals to airlines around the world, providing over 1.5 million meals daily. We are looking for customer service staff for the lounge. Flexibility for any shift is important. Benefits: Starting pay of $23.54–$24 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick) Responsibilities: Maintain lounge service standards Clean the lounge, bar, and kitchen during and after hours Assist in preparing cold and warm food in the kitchen Refill buffet with food, drinks, and equipment Assist the Lounge Supervisor with tasks Help guests navigate the lounge Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations Maintain a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customers Job Requirements: Accuracy and speed in executing tasks Familiarity with industry best practices Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multitask and concentrate with interruptions Prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate the team Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles Conform to high standards of integrity and ethical behavior Work well in a team to ensure a positive customer experience Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Required Experience: Equivalent professional experience Physical Requirements: Standing: Must remain standing for 50% of the time Walking: Move around the kitchen area Lifting: Frequently move trays, dishes, pots, and pans weighing up to 50 lbs.
