• We are hiring immediately for a full time  FRONT DESK CLERK  position.
• Location : Georgetown University - 2115 Wisconsin Avenue North West, Washington, DC 20007. (Openings at other locations within school district available)  Note: online applications accepted only .
• Schedule : Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirement : Previous customer service experience, front desk experience, and event scheduling experience are preferred, but not required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Greets and welcomes occupants and visitors upon entry to the building . Assists with answering questions, directing and responding to inquiries. Manages reservations for meeting rooms and assists with event set up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcomes and acknowledges everyone with a smile, eye contact and friendly greeting.
• Speaks using clear, appropriate and professional language.
• Anticipates service needs by asking questions, listening to preferences and taking action when possible.
• Processes reservation request and provides needed information.
• Completes event room set up based on submitted request.
• Provides access for delivery services.
• Completes a daily building check and assists with correcting minor issues.
• Communicates with occupants for guest arrivals, package deliveries, and shares information as needed.
• Provide directions and information regarding parking and local points of interest.
• Inputs facilities request into the appropriate system based on need.
• Processes facilities request for the gym and bike rooms.
• Practices safety standards at all times.
• Complies with record retention, Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
