Job Description

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Houston, TX location.

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems.
• Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to the customer.
• Work includes climbing ladders, climbing stairs, lifting at least 50lbs, walking long distances to reach all areas of buildings where work must be performed.
• Interact with customers, contractors, and other employees in a respectful, professional manner. 

Requirements

• At least five (5) years’ experience in the field installation, inspection, programming or servicing of fire alarm detection systems.
• Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with other team members.
• Valid Texas State Fire Marshal FAL License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass Drug and Background screening, including motor vehicle records, and ability to obtain an airport badge with customs clearance.
• Able to obtain NICET I in Fire Alarm Systems in 90 days
