Private West Village family seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper for their formal townhouse, immediate start. The schedule will typically be 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and will not exceed 40 hours a week. Must be okay with pets - the family has one dog. The housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the 9,000 square foot property, laundry, and organizational needs for the family. Candidates must be experienced, professional team-players, as they will be working alongside a more junior housekeeper and a full staff. This position will be the best fit for a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and expects a collegial, formal, and respectful working environment. Candidates must have previous experience working in high net-worth households. The annual salary is $110-120k, as well as a healthcare and retirement plan. Candidates receive all major holidays off with additional vacation days.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·Provide exceptional care and cleaning for the 9,000 square foot property, ensuring it is maintained to the highest of standards
·Perform laundry and other housekeeping tasks to meet the family’s needs
·Collaborate with a junior housekeeper and a full staff to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment
·Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
·When the family is in residence at their second property one hour north of New York City, rotate with other staff members to clean and maintain the property
·Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household necessities, ensuring they are well-stocked at all times
·Execute all housekeeping tasks with precision and attention to detail
