Job Description

ADVOC8 is seeking a Client Services Account Manager to support efforts to grow key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and seamless execution of experiential programs. This individual will play a role in bridging strategic client objectives with project execution, ensuring that all work aligns with client goals while maintaining ADVOC8's high standards.

The Client Services Account Manager is a natural relationship builder, a problem solver, and a strategic thinker who can navigate challenges with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset. They work closely with internal teams and clients to help drive projects forward while maintaining a focus on the details and the big picture.

THE ROLE

As a Client Services Account Manager, you will be a key member of the client engagement team, providing the support needed to operate a solutions-oriented client services operation that values subject matter expertise. You will help play a role in the long term planning for each of our accounts, helping to deliver impactful experiences by proactively identifying opportunities for success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project & Account Management

  • Assist in the day-to-day execution of experiential marketing programs, ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, strategy) to develop and execute high-impact brand experiences.
  • Manage internal account documentation including contact records and account plans
  • Assist in budget management and financial planning for projects, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Help track project progress and analyze performance metrics to optimize future activations and drive continuous improvement.

Client & Relationship Management

  • May serve as a client point of contact as needed, building trust and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Support Client Service Directors in their day-to-day client communications as needed
  • Help build and maintain account plans for key accounts

Strategic Growth & Development

  • Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, pitch development, and client strategy discussions as needed
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging experiential strategies
  • Support the growth of client relationships through careful tracking and understanding of the client's business

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support alignment between creative vision and client needs.
  • Contribute to ADVOC8's culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Support internal process improvements to ensure efficient project execution and client satisfaction.

This Role is Accountable For:

  • Supporting overall Client Services team target for annual account growth
  • Maintaining positive relationships with team members
  • Creating efficiencies internally through smart approaches to internal processes
  • Maintaining positive client-facing communications as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in client services, experiential marketing, event production, or a related field.
  • A background in client relationship management or customer service
  • Experience working in an agency setting, managing multiple projects and stakeholders ideal but not required.
  • Ability to manage priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • An interest in brand storytelling, audience engagement, and experiential marketing strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and find creative solutions.

We have transitioned from a once Washington D.C.-based agency to being Washington, D.C.-born. This position is not location-based, though travel will occasionally be required for project work and team offsites.
